Depot Day 2017 in Historic Wallace Idaho

May 13^th is the date, downtown Wallace is the place, and the 32^nd Annual Northern Pacific Depot Railroad Museum Festival and Classic Car Show is the event. Depot Day has evolved into a major festival for Wallace, as it celebrates the coming of spring, America's favorite mode of transportation, the automobile, and the nostalgia of the railroads that helped make Wallace "The Silver Capital of the World."

• 1^st prize: 9 Troy ounces of .999 fine silver rounds and bars beautifully framed around original art by Wallace native Gretchen Ehrsam, $500 value.
• 2^nd prize: $75 gift certificate from Idaho Silver Shop

• Registration for cars is between 7:00 and 11:00 AM
• Judging starts at 11:00 AM
• Fee is $15 or $25 with grey T-shirt with backside art as shown
• Trophies and raffle winners will be awarded at 3:15 PM at the gazebo
• Qualify to win $100 raffle with pre-registration
• Kiwanis Breakfast 7-11 AM at the Wallace Elks
• Beer Garden with two Wallace Micro Brews
• Live Music with One Gun and the Longshots beginning at 11 AM at the Gazebo
• The Brat Boys selling brats and sausages

This piece of art is parked in front of the old Eagles Building, which housed the Wallace Arts Center, the center of the town's artistic community for many years.

Twenty-three years later, the Eagles Building now houses the Nite Rock Event Center, as well as the popular Dayrock Bar

Wallace festivals have always been known for a wide variety of music at the gazebo.

In 2017, we will hold our Seventh Annual ACCORDION Jubilee on August 11 - 13, and our Sixth Annual HISTORIC WALLACE BLUES FESTIVAL on July 7 - 9!
