The Beale House

The Beale House, one of the most prominent turn-of-the-century dwellings in Wallace, has many unique features and interesting architechural details. Impressive original parquet floors, antique furnishings and memorabilia contribute to an atmosphere of comfortable elegance reminiscent of bygone days.

A massive Palladian window in the library area provides a scenic view of the grounds and mountains. Each of the five second-floor guestrooms has its own distinctive charm — one with a fireplace, another with a balcony, still another with two full walls of windows. The third floor is used exclusively by the innkeepers.

• Advance reservations are required and must be made by phone.
• A full breakfast is served elegantly in the formal dining room.
• Room rates start at $225 plus tax, single or double occupancy.
• Reservations are confirmed upon receipt of deposit.
• Deposits are refunded with ten-day notice, less processing fee.
• Check-in time is after 4:00 PM and check-out time is 11:00 AM
• Accommodations are inappropriate for children or pets.
• Outdoor smoking areas are provided.
• The two resident cats are not permitted in guest bedrooms or guests baths.
